Online Centre Upgrade
The online centre in the institute is open for public use Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 10 am to 10 pm.
This week the PCs are being serviced and updated by Simon, so it will be shut on Monday 23rd but will re-open on Wednesday 25th July.
Sorry for the inconvenience, the new XP operating system had slowed down the old machines so this upgrade will speed them up again.

Machines 1 and 2 back in institute and working great, 3 and 4 due back Friday.

tried two of the upgraded pcs and they are really fast now
computer three back now, delay was due to wrong items arriving which didn't fit and had to wait for new supplies, pc four back Friday, temporary machine there for interim

Many thanks for all your hard work Simon, the centre is in use most of the time during the school holidays and the faster computers are getting a lot of people online who otherwise wouldn't be.
